How to commission a pet portrait

First decide what size you would like, I offer three standard sizes, Small (8“ x 10“),

Medium (10" x 12:) and Large (11“ x 14“). Colour or black and white.

Next send me a good selection of good quality photographs for reference. I will advise on which shot will be most suitable if you do not have a preference. Please make sure that the images you send me are good quality, not blurry, as this impacts greatly on the final result.

Tips for a good
portrait photograph...

Try to capture the entire head, shoulders and chest, don’t crop too closely. Get down to eyelevel with the dog and focus on the eyes and nose. Avoid taking shots from above the dog or too close to the dog’s nose. take a variety of different angles. Have the light source behind you so the light is shining onto the dogs face. Have your camera on its highest resolution setting. Good luck!
